Not sure how you can have SH Stevenson ranked higher than Lake Orion, when LO beat them…or Macomb Dakota when LO beat both teams that they lost to…four teams on your list lost to LO this year, but only one team beat them. But you were almost spot on with your prediction of the D1 final. They had to play mistake-free football to beat Rockford, and they had the most mistakes in the most important game…LO should be a high ranked team in the preseason poll next year, they have alot of underclassmen!
Lotowntrimm,
It was a close call on the three teams you mentioned. I saw Lake Orion three times and just didn’t think they were that good. But, they surprised me and made it all the way to Ford Field. Ok, so I’ll give them their props and rank them fairly high–in the Top 10. I saw the LO-SHS game and, even though LO won it in a thrller, I thought SHS was the better overall team. That is, who would win more games if the teams played five times. I thinkk SHS would win maybe three out of five. Same for Dakota. First of all, Dakota beat SHS, before losing to them and if I thought SHS was better than LO after seeing the two teams play, then I put Dakota ahead of LO as well. I almost put Brother Rice ahead of LO. They only had one common opponent and both teams beat Adams. I think Rice vs LO would be a good game. I’d like to see the two teams play in Week One next year. Both have openings at this point.
Jim Tressel is recruiting Devin Gardner hard Jim Tressel was at Inkster High School basketball game against wyandotte devin has not made his mind on what college he wants to go to but devin gardner favorite color is red I would hate to see that happen I am true blue I hope he sign with michigan and throw the ball to cam gordon that would be a sight to see
devin gardner gave michigan wolverines a verbal commitment
jj,
You probably know Devin. How firm is his commitment to Michigan? I’m sure he will continue to get offers and as Michigan gets more QB commitments, will he waver. With all the de-commits in recent years, I’m not going to get too excited until he signs the LOI.
